Statemachine returns to the stage
After a self-imposed two-decade break, it’s now confirmed that Statemachine will finally return to the stage, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their award-winning album Short & Explosive. Statemachine joins the lineup at the Swedish Subkult festival in July, together with former tour mates And One and fellow Stockholm synth legends The Mobile Homes, and many many others. Check out the full lineup and further info at subkultfestivalen.se.
Statemachine Holiday Nostalgia Christmas Gift
Are you feeling that holiday nostalgia for the days or yore? If so … we have prepared a nice little holiday surprise gift for you that might just cover all your urges, with bittersweet synth pop melancholy to boot (not to mention a certain “happy/sad” holiday vibe).
In-depth Statemachine Interview
There's a newly published in-depth interview with lead vocalist Mårten Kellerman over at Subsine. It's quite extensive and covers a wide range of topics that span the band's entire career, and is a recommended read for everyone with a keen interest in Statemachine, and lots of time to spare. But unfortunately it's only available in Swedish.
Soundcheck Gallery
Here's another set of Statemachine photos from The Mobile Homes' 30th anniversary show. Shot on and off stage during soundcheck by photographer Jan Gustavsson these pictures capture the moment the band gets back together on stage for the first time in almost ten years.
Twitty Endings
Oh, yeah … the Statemachine Twitter page is up and running now too, by the way. If Twitter's your cup of tea, make sure to follow the band, and feel more than welcome to drop us a line while you're at it (quite literally in this case).

Anniversary surprise!
Last night, at Swedish synthpop legends The Mobile Homes' 30th anniversary at Debaser in Stockholm, Sweden, Statemachine appeared on stage as secret special guests. Performing a cover of the main attraction's signature single Something Better, this marked the first time Statemachine appeared together on stage in 10 years. And since they performed a newly recorded cover this also marked the first time the band have gone into a studio to record something together since 2003.
